今日下午食完自製餐蛋治後洗碗，忽發其想。

正能量可說是自身對身邊事物的欣賞及感恩，並能具體直接說明其值得欣賞之處及原因，亦包括對未如人意事物的批判，具體直接說明其詳及如何才可令其變得值得欣賞。

追尋自身所想的，往往有重重障礙，過程難免被迫想一些自身不想想的事，但，正正是先前所建立的，遏止了此等種種違背所衍生的思緖，接受現實的殘酷，一笑置之，尋覓所想，靜待機會實踐。

該等違背就是燃料，燃點起所想，燃燒著理想，一次一次的違背令理想越燃越旺，熊火團團，鞏固理想，心中富有。

211: 人生第二支香水

去旅行除咗令人在當地吃喝玩樂買外，番到香港都仲可以繼續，事關我又中咗機場香水的迷陣！

今次事發在新加坡，因為去程差d上唔到機，所以各devils皆十分緊張，預早咗三個鐘有多就去到機場，去到人地都未開counter辦登機手續，於是一行四人便推着行李車逛逛逛，食斑蘭葉蛋糕嘆咖啡，有個devil仲話由這個旅行起愛上飲咖啡，哈哈！

Hea完counter開了，便快趣寄哂行李入去候機範圍。大家都知裡面一定有好多舖頭，又逛逛逛，行過香水陣，又試試試，我已經好克制試咗只係幾款，但大鑊，有一隻好特別好清香好男人味，中招！

跟第一次同樣的再在返到香港後發生，不過這款已確定係男裝，去了莎莎，有，試，一樣！但比原價只得九折，再睇其他地方都係一樣價錢，把心一橫，到該牌子專門店睇，去了半島那間，因為少些自由行，價錢跟莎莎原價一樣，樽差唔多，莎莎那水是透明，這裡的水是淺黃，味道有些分別但更合心，心想唔要那九折就買到正貨，值，買！

Sales姐姐好好招呼，我行去睇袋睇呔都好詳盡講解，但我費事買禁多嘢，買完俾完錢便滿足地離去！

買完後發現除了水色不同，外面包裝紙盒也不同，莎莎白色，正貨白黑紫，原來連香水個名都唔同！我係根本買咗第二隻香水，根本唔係在新加坡噴那隻！

不過，這款的確好些。返到屋企上網睇，真係是兩款不同的，新加坡跟莎莎那款是男人啱啱洗澡完畢的香味，我買那款是晚間清香。哈哈，原來於新加坡試時那特別的味是沐浴露味！諗番真係有九成似！

這次錯有錯着而獲更好的，要記住：2011年9月14日18：05。

210: 連番幸運合作多謝

昨天實在是一個好日，事情得心應手。

首先有一個項目的底稿昨天是歸檔最後日期，但second partner還未簽名批准出具報告，是不可以歸檔的，但不歸檔我又會犯規，很煩惱。我一大清早就把東西給了她，她又說忙沒時間看我的底稿，又黑面又話我好這樣遲才給她看。本身我都諗住遲一兩天去歸檔及叫老闆簽張紙話遲咗就算，但始終都唔係幾好，越近五點半就越煩，因為佢仲未將東西還給我去歸檔。誰知五點半她就打來叫我上去，笑哂敢，唔知乜事，一路吹水一路IQ，仲問我我哋組多人走的事，原來想八嘢，唔怪得知啦，哈哈！

同佢吹完水差不多六點，心想Filing room已關門，都是要老闆簽張嘢遲歸檔了，但是又不甘心這樣犯規，上了去三十九樓，Filing room未閂門！仲有個filing哥哥係度，我同佢講我隻嘢今日到期，我可否即刻上來你幫我搞歸檔，佢話好，佢六點半先放工。太好太幸運了！我即刻將所有嘢拿上去，順利完成！！

這次完全體現到天時地利人和，如果阿姐唔叫我上去IQ，我拿不到她簽名；如果同佢再吹耐點，filing room會閂門；如果filing room閂了，我便無法於最後關頭完成；如果filing哥哥寸唔幫我，我便會犯規。

都係一句：好好彩！多謝！

209：旅行酒店日光浴

因為本身皮膚比較白，所以到了夏天便會享受日光浴，以得一身比較健康的膚色。

今次係第一次於旅行中晒太陽，檳城的陽光非常充足，由上午八時（甚至更早）已經有充足的陽光。因為旅伴比較遲起床，所以我便爭取時間，上午八時四十五分便靜靜地起床，梳洗後到樓下吃過早餐，便開始我的日光浴。

初時諗住在酒店泳池晒，但泳池邊陽光不太豐富，便到了酒店的沙灘。那沙灘只供酒店客人使用，所以冇乜人，只不過禁啱有個本地人嘅活動在沙灘舉行先有多少少人。我去咗個有些大石的沙灘邊緣位置，搵條酒店大毛巾墊住就開始。

陽光十分充足，因為時間早而沒有灼熱感覺，非常適合日光浴。其間有些人走了過來，好似想在海邊搵一些佢個遊戲要搵嘅東西（可能係特定類型貝殼），我見到佢哋就笑吓，佢哋都好友善，冇望住我冇着衫，哈哈。

過咗一陣，個活動完咗佢哋去哂用餐，沙灘上只得我一人及一些在遠處玩沙的孩童，這一刻沙灘是屬於我，很自由、自在、舒服、爽快、忘我，完全不會有人理，有些石遮住了我可能除咗條泳褲裸曬都冇人知，哈哈！真的自由自在得很！

訓到有些腰攰就企咗喺度哂，陽光均勻地落在身上，只有哂，沒有灼熱，感覺一流！

哂完就沖沖身，用酒店的大毛巾褸住上房，電梯走廊內陣陣冷氣又是另一種爽，回到房間，朋友還未起身，勁懶！敢我就霸住浴室大洗！

日光浴整件事最爽是那光而不灼的陽光跟那寸步不離酒店範圍的方便，日後去陽光與海灘也要訂這種酒店。

這是最棒的一次日光浴！

208: 旅行時的free wifi

Free wifi 對於在香港用無限上網plan的人士其實不太重要，因為已經無限用，錢都是付這樣。

但在海外就另一說話了，roaming wifi 實在太貴兼無必要，free wifi 就變得非常重要了。用了iPhone後第一次出國是去越南胡志明市，一行六人五人用smart phone，去到邊就search wifi或問店員攞free wifi login，跟住就同人whatsapp，傳相俾人，玩Facebook，check-in，上網等等，仲可以上網check in 回程飛機座位，好很興奮，哈哈！

另外唔識路的時候，可以用google map搜尋路線，有些巴士及的士有free wifi，選好路線藍色波波就會移動表示路程確定冇行錯路，同埋決定邊個站落車，好方便！

有些apps仲有旅遊指南，可以搜尋食肆景點，自由行時諗唔到去乜景點就可以㩒吓，唔使諗爆頭都諗唔到。

以上重點其實是「free」，要收費就失去了那種樂趣！

207: 今年飛了很多

今年應該是飛得最多的一年，四月飛越南，五月飛曼谷，六月飛檳城，七月會再隨公司再飛曼谷，八月阿媽話一家人飛一次旅行，九月應該會和devils遊新加坡，很是豐富！

去旅行真是一件十分快樂的事，工作越忙，越想行開幾日散心。和朋友去旅行每次都笑料百出，笑到唔訓都唔罷休，之後出嚟都續下來笑，諗起都好開心。五藏廟是需要進貢及慰勞的，美食除滿足生理需要，亦能增添歡愉，各位喜歡美饌的朋友相信非常明白，最開心是吃到平靚正的地道食品，越南米紙卷，曼谷串燒及冬蔭公，都是深刻之作。仲有我禁鍾意買嘢，曼谷是除了東京外最愛的地點。

另外，去旅行會令你跟朋友們了解多好多，包括生活習慣、喜惡食物、容忍能力、價值觀、興趣等等很多地方，曾經有些人是去完旅行回來熟咗，當然相反的也有，唔係話冇禁熟，而係更清楚對方有些東西會避免。

現在是在國泰CX693飛往檳城中，估不到也要約三個半鐘，現在香港正遇三號風球風大雨也不小，檳城據天氣預報是晴朗，希望可以好好享受！

206：人生第一支香水

一直以來都唔覺得自己同香水會扯得上關係，因為一陣味敢好怪，同好似冇乜必要用香水。

點解無啦啦又想到？導火線係近排去旅行，在曼谷機場太多時間等上機，周圍行有好多免稅店，就無聊試吓噴吓，發現有很多種香水，有濃有淡唔使講，有些好快就冇味，有些洗幾次手後都仲有味，有些噴咗落隻手後即時聞同隔五分鐘後聞又有更特別或深層的味，花多眼亂。

其中有兩隻味都適合，但計返港幣差不多六百元，又唔知香港買會唔會便宜點，所以就冇買。

當時試咗其中一隻幾好，搭完程機返到香港落機仲有淡淡幽香，返到香港都有去再試噴。

有一天食完午飯去了金鐘莎莎試，真係便宜些，四百六十幾，但覺得隻味香過之前在曼谷機場試，原來！個售貨員俾咗同一隻名但係女裝我試！點解我會知？因為我之後上去該牌子官方網頁看，莎莎那個香水瓶包裝是女版，曼谷機場也用了女版樽，不過裡面裝的是男版的香水，買香水原來可以是這樣複雜！

確定了男版的告香水瓶包裝及香味後，當晚再去廣東道，先去免稅店，四百七十幾，都可以，拿起男版樽再試，香味是男版的。然後去品牌專門店，冇貨，但價錢七百三，很貴呢！又去卓悅、莎莎、Colourmix，冇男裝賣！「算吧，遲些再買。」站在新港中心對面的Armani，正當想離去，見到新港二樓有莎莎，「上去睇埋先。」一入去，就見到，有男版！那間莎莎較少人，裡面有個男售貨員，黑衫黑褲，個頭幾型，站在香水櫃前，應該是主力銷售香水。我先試咗想買嗰款，正確，重要係內外都是男版！四百三十八，即買！跟住問佢同牌子另一款邊隻較淡，佢話我要買嗰隻。好，再在店內無目的地遊，拿着手上想買的，再諗清楚買唔買，突然那個售貨員又出現在我面前，拿着另一隻牌子的香水，唔知乜牌子，說他手上那款仲淡味，「我都係要番呢隻，唔該哂。」接着就去付款了。

凡事的第一次確是特別，2011年5月11日19：59，要在這裡把它記住。

205: 我的時間

今天是星期六，極不情願爬起身返公司做一件不想做的事，我諗我其實未完全做完，而家出去剪個型髮先。

坐巴士中，好耐冇搭過619，好舒服，我喜歡搭巴士多過搭地鐵，搭地鐵好嘈，只是為快，搭巴士都唔靜，但塞住對耳聽歌就仿佛是自己的天地，自己的一個空間，望吓街上的事物和百態，感覺很實在，唔似喺地底剩係見到成車人，高談闊論，低着頭篤電話，或者喺度發癲。

有個着到好MK的𡃁仔俾差佬查身份證，3大賣白iPhone廣告，有人好悠閒食迴轉壽司，有個靚C9天陰陰重戴副大超，食環署員工好努力掃街上的落葉，有個黑黑實實的靚仔，有隻黑身白翅膀的雀仔，有好多風帆在東區走廊的海上。

香港真美！

204：得到上司認同的感覺很棒！

今天（星期一）極不願返工，星期二又放假，都唔知做到d乜，但點知整個下午都搞緊兩隻ipo的東西，真係死唔斷氣。

放工時間加假期，又做哂佢d嘢，就去同佢報告一下加傾吓其他嘢，傾吓傾吓，我問佢這壇嘢會幾時上到市，因為我都要有個底線，佢講咗俾我聽，順勢又吹吓水，佢問我想做乜，有乜要求。大家都好客氣，我又多謝佢又同佢講有時令佢勞氣唔好意思，有時佢見我太多嘢要顧佢又主動參與，其實我真係好感激佢，雖然佢真係好chur，好凶，好多其他經理話佢對我態度差，話佢當我哋成班人係做嘢機器，但佢有料有方向有心地，我好服佢，好尊重呢個人，因為佢真係對事，我唔驚面對佢，做錯咪俾佢鬧吓，佢唔會記住好耐，唔會單打，唔會小題大做琺雞蛋。可能佢背後有篤我，但至少佢冇那種陰險及假惺惺的感覺，我相信我的感覺。

佢又話我幫了他很多，剩係呢句已經夠，因為我覺得佢認同我付出的心血，我自問真係好俾心機，因為我buy佢嘅做事方法，佢會令你知佢緊張邊個位，令你有方向，其他嘢佢真係信任你，唔會令你無所適從，我真係獲益良多，我好感動佢這樣講我。

佢重叫我俾資料佢，雖然佢可能都係放埋一邊唔記得，但我永遠都會記住他的做事方式及技巧，一定會有用！

203：好抵食的好時沙嗲

今晚去了尖東好時沙嗲吃晚飯，上次去應該是起碼五年前中學同學聚會。

四人點了咖喱叻沙、炒通菜、加多加多（沙嗲沙律）、海南雞飯及串燒，全部都好好味！不過串燒似番燒，所以比較硬。

餐飯$194埋單，勁抵！物超所值！

綿羊G電咗個髮幾好睇，佢話自己近排食得太多yogurt肥咗，又好似塊面真係肥咗，哈哈！

去食嘢前行新港，Underground有件啡金色龜背背心千四六折，好靚，不過折咗都六舊，都唔平，加上應該剩係襯深色牛仔褲先好睇，收藏又大件唔方便，出街著熱又要拎住放唔到入袋，所以都係唔買，成功戰勝購物慾！

食完飯魔鬼茶俾驚喜我哋，一人一枝Godiva Lollipop，我都係今日先識波板糖╱棒棒糖英文原來係敢，哈哈。那個復活蛋朱古力棒棒糖很美很得意，不過遲些要吃了。

因為佢哋唔想食肥嘢，所以去咗恭和堂食龜苓膏，金馬倫理道那間，裡面光猛坐得舒服，唔想走呀！

呢排過得好快樂，感受到生活應該係點，我人生因工作而構成最辛苦的時間終於過去，值得高興！

我好快樂！

202：天朗氣清的農曆二月二十九日

一早已約好朋友星期六去郊遊，雖然只是去嘉道理農場，不過也十分開心，因為之前沒有去過。

在大埔墟港鐵站乘64K巴士很快便到，我在途中還用了九巴出的iPhone app，真係好準，架車到站GPS也跟着走，落車提示都準，係一個幾好用的free app。

入到去見到有很多小朋友同家長，真係好似一個兒童天地或者小學春季旅行，重有一些賣有機蔬果的攤當，好似去咗另一個世界。

由於我們遲入去的關係，那裡五時關門，我們只有個多小時遊玩，於是大家便爭取時間狂影相，那裡有很多耕種中的蔬果及植物，好多都冇見過，重有蘭花溫室，那些蘭花姿態優雅，色澤鮮明但低調，我都想在家種一小盤。

行完之後就去了禾輋邨陳根記排擋，六時未夠就到了，只見到員工在頭圍用膳，未有客人，我們真早！有個阿哥話六點三就可點菜，我們就先坐下。

我們點了芥辣手撕雞、冬陰公浸大蜆、蟹肉扒什菇、酥炸白飯魚及魚湯浸豆卜，全部都好好味！真係好好味！芥辣手撕雞開胃，冬陰公浸大蜆好有泰國風味，撈白飯勁正！

七點幾就食完，跟住去行新城市廣埸，數年沒來真的提升了很多，有Coach, Burberry black and blue, westwood等名店，有間koyo jeans賣黑調型衫，好靚但唔平，遲些減價我一定幫襯！

跟住行了過去Home Square, 很多舖頭，但已關門，我就去行宜家家居，都有好多新產品。行完返去新城市，臨走都給我見到Uniqlo，又買到嘢！明明件衫擺出嚟冇哂細碼，我就問個店員，她很殷勤殷，幫我叫倉同事查，之後自己入埋去，終於搵到一件，那刻很開心，很有客人被尊重的感覺！

搭89回家，過了完滿的一天！

201: 睡極都唔夠

近排工作沒有那麼忙，照計是多了時間睡覺，但不知為何常常都是這麼累，真係極不願起床。

其實可能都是自己心野，有時間睡又不睡，喺度上網同執吓呢樣執吓嗰樣，攪完可能已經一兩點。

雖然睡極都不夠，我仍然比一二月時精神好，很大程度是因為見岸，少了很多顧慮，可以全心全意在三月拼，莫非真係要咁先可以有這種如釋重負的心情？這再次印證凡事不用太認真，世界上冇話邊個冇咗邊個會唔得嘅。

睇開睇化睇淡睇輕一點，令自己更輕鬆平和冷靜鎮定，一定有新的念頭可以想出來。死做爛做不去放鬆，只是末路一條，唔開心都冇人可憐，人哋只會話呢個人好似隻牛，剩係識做，毫無怨言，不懂說不，任人魚肉，溝通不濟，做唔到又唔出聲求救，倒頭來冇人諗你已經不計較地付出了很多很多。

所以，我一定以此為鑑，開心來開心去，不帶走一片遺憾。

200: 最忙的已過

自從最後一隻負責的上市公司公佈了業績，整個人都輕鬆得多，加上已經做了決定，人就更無壓力。

諗深一層，壓力某程度上係自己俾自己，越對自己要求高，對自己越辛苦，我自問不是完美主義，但也有一定的要求。

看了「黑天鵝」後感覺更深，越追求卓越，越會被無形的東西蒙蔽，因此而患上精神病更加唔值得。

可能搵份人工低一點的工作，會比一份高薪但攪到無乜生活的工作好。越無時間，越要多花時間金錢彌補及護理，到頭來落袋的應該差唔幾，那又何必戀棧虛數呢？

一定要有時間，才可以静下有清晰的空間去想。

199：笑看風雲

小巴司機正播着秋官的笑看風雲。

數個禮拜來的趕趕趕傾傾傾片片片，應該快會過去，我錯過了很多：睇王菲遲到錯過了開場的幾首歌，冇得同人睇黑天鵝，冇得在正常時間返到工，唔夠訓開會遲到，明明有人卻未能善用他們，順得哥情失嫂意。

但，我得到了很多：得到朋友的諒解，得到同事的關心支持，得到在會中能夠幫到幾個同事的快慰，得到別人的主動合作，得到家人無聲但無限的支持，我真的很高興得到這些。

快完結了，希望順順利利，平平安安，一笑，看風雲過。

198：被跟蹤

費解。

前幾天返工搭地鐵，大約到旺角站後不久，有一位穿紫色尼龍褸的女子，四十餘歲，輕輕捉着我的左邊手臂，微笑着，「你點呀？你還好嗎？」「咩事呢？」「冇嘢，你點呀你？」她一路也是保持微笑輕聲說話。「你係咪認錯人呢？」「冇，我冇認錯人呀」

那刻覺得好奇怪，不知道如何回應，於是便低頭玩電話，偷望着她有沒有其他動靜，話哂係陌生人都要小心點。

我唔想理佢繼續低頭，佢就一路望住我，我忍不住便在佐敦站下了車，她見住我要下車此刻並沒有反應，但我下車在月台行前時，見到佢跟住我，好驚，即是佢冇反應係扮嘢，其實已經唸住跟我落車跟住我。我趁原本的列車還未開出，走返入前幾卡的車廂。

心唸應該撇甩咗佢，安心了。到金鐘下車時，佢又出現！佢應該見我入返去佢又入返去，跟住睇吓我喺邊卡，恐怖！

同樣地，我落車佢冇反應，我望返去後面又見到佢跟住嚟，於是極速奔跑，出閘，飛返去公司。

事後有很多設想，佢係咪有病？佢係咪曾經有個仔好似我？

沒可能想到的，只好以後多點留意身邊的人。

197：稍為回氣

明天其中一個客戶會公佈業績，兩個多月的辛苦總算有一個里程，很感激同事們及老闆的努力及通力合作，所以可以趕得切。

審計工作最辛苦的是趕，日趕夜趕，時刻都在趕，不夠趕會話你唔盡力，趕不到更會話你辦事不力累街坊，可知同時間是有很多其他項目要做要趕，腦得一個，手得一雙，同事又不夠，個客又唔係好掂，唔識就打嚟好聲好氣但長氣地問問問，教錯咗佢就賴哂你鬧鬧鬧投訴，點同佢做呀？

這絕對是一個惡夢，一個發都唔想發和發完不想再發的惡夢。

昨天朋友們都替我高興，脫苦海要幫我慶祝但要我請，哈哈！

開心吓再衝過，可以重拾動力！

196：翻看

發生了一件很不如意的事，令我覺得我的決定係冇錯，同時亦令到我欲哭無淚頭痛睡不着，訓喺張床典來典去，便拿起電話上網了。

在facebook上看到人們慶祝情人節的浪漫照片和留言，亦看到有些同事工作上或生活上的不如意，這些我彷彿全部都經過了，所以他們的心情是可理解的。

無啦啦走去翻看自己Facebook status及blog，當然很久沒有寫。看着看着，忽然滴出一滴淚，回憶可使人沈澱，亦可使人更新，當看回以往的思緒，就看到了行過的路是多麼的豐富，多麼的崎嶇，多麼的幸福，沒有丁點的後悔，因累積的是無可取替的一點一滴。

淚中有笑，就是此刻的心情。

翻看着自己的心情，我真的很幸運，不是指事事順風順水，而是自己擁有的一切事物和一群守護天使，你們做的都是對我這個人支持及關心的，心中所求的是我的安心及我的開心。

「原來安心，才能開心」，林夕在千嬅的「原來過得很快樂」所寫的很中。安心，是比開心更深層，虛浮的可以令人開心，但只有實在的才能使人安心。你們一張張的臉已在我這裏，賦予我安全感，令我有力量持之以恆。

翻着寫過的文字，盤點擁有的，忘記失去的，出發。

195：我發夢

發夢這東西耐不耐都會有，但今早的很特別。

一如以往，由於是星期一的關係，天氣又冷（9.7度），想鬧鐘響即起床基本上是沒可能。訓番便發了一串夢。

首先是關心妍在日間準備去紅館頒獎禮，佢着咗黑色長袖貼身衣和貼身褲，黑色超高高錚鞋，外披一件草綠毛毛背心，那些毛毛像一條條草一樣，再穿了一條草綠毛毛裙，前面短後面有些拖地。佢保母車在紅隧囗停了車，她便獨自在馬路行貓步似的一步一步行去紅館，而紅館卻在馬路旁，但入囗是順利健康院的入囗，有好多記者等。

跟住又夢見另一個關心研，她是假關心研，整哂頭但穿白T恤，上保母車又裝香，下車後會變成剛才那個草綠關心妍，搞笑是佢落車時保母車對車尾車門好大會遮住佢，佢助手會放個香爐喺地下，佢就好快噉拜三下裝香，車門關前佢就將香爐全部東西收到草叢，然後關車門從容地接受記者訪問。

另外，又夢見商業電台一個電視廣告，話黃耀明出咗一大碟專輯，個唱片封套好大，好似一張學校寫字枱般大，另外佢又同胡楓修哥一齊開音樂會，成件事無厘頭。

得閒發吓呢d夢都幾搞鬼，得啖笑，但又會滲透出一些自己有時會不經意想過的瑣事，無聊但感覺良好。

194: K11 Another Sales 的路不拾遺

很欣賞K11 Another Sales 的路不拾遺。

事緣昨晚於K11另一舖頭買了一份hand cream 作為媽咪的生日禮物，購物包裝袋小小的就同公事包一齊挽住，並沒有將那小小的一袋放入公事包裡。

之後去Another，睇咗件褸，於是將所有手上的東西放在地上，唔啱冇買就拎返地下的東西離去，拿了公事包，就是忘記了那一小袋的禮物。

之後一路都冇醒起，就回家了，到屋企樓下才乍然醒起遺了袋東西在那裡，於是就問電話公司打返去間Another問，點知個電話係錯嘅，即刻衝口而出：超---錯------!

心唸都可能俾店內其他客人或職員攞咗，邊有人禁好心，聽日去買過算把啦！但又好心心不忿，因為exactly同一樣嘢做兩次真的非常不爽，所以就決定明天去返間舖頭問吓。

「唔好意思，我想問吓你哋有冇拾到一袋xxx的hand cream?我漏低咗喺度。」「有呀！是否昨晚？你等一陣。」那一刻真的喜出望外，我唔該哂咗個Sales好多次。

這次慶幸自己堅持，唔返去問過唔心惜，萬分感謝K11 Another的職員，我會更加支持你們的設計！

193：7:20am起床

點解禁早起身？在隻蚊喺耳邊飛吓飛吓，攪到醒咗，仲係好清醒訓唔返嗰隻，還感覺到兩隻耳仔勁痕，原來隻蚊同我咬耳仔！專咬埋d無肉地嘅地方，前幾日咬額頭，而家咬耳仔，令人O晒咀！

今日早咗返工，工作更有效率，但係今晚返到屋企仍然要繼續，但係而家飯氣攻心。

到站落車了，回到家沖個靚涼再戰工作！

192: 自己呃自己

人有時會鍾意自己呃自己，明明唔想做又話想做，都唔知為乜。

不過人越大，有時有些東西唔係你話唔想做就可以唔做，有其他嘢需要考慮，這些東西就會影響到最後的選擇，亦有可能需要好多時間才可抉擇。究竟係我唸得太多還是事實如此？我應該大膽點，豁出去，才不致受這個問題影響到日常生活和工作。

記得志雲大師訪問阿嬌，阿嬌解釋自己點解成日黑臉，就是因為常常想起她以前的好天真好傻，成日觸動到條刺。我那些雖然唔係佢那些好天真好儍的事，但係一去想就因未能解決而唔開心。強顏歡笑我尚可做到，可以攞視帝𠻹，不過這又何必呢，我覺得唔需要，成日內裏不一遲早精神病。

唸清楚自己想行條乜嘢路，相信自己的判斷，相信自己的能力，相信自己的眼光，才會成為真正熱愛演戲的視帝。

191: 不要氣餒

近來真是很忙，都唔知乜得嚟禁多嘢做，又要做planning，又要做IPO，又要做xx基，為何應該很閒的時間有那麼多的東西湧出來？

我發覺我一定要先完成一些可以用一點時間便可完成的事情，才可以完成一些比較花時間完成的事。不過我有時放假又鍾意訓，攪到有些東西想做又唔夠時間做，攪到發自己脾氣，唸唸吓都幾無謂。

繼續努力，不要氣餒，以前做到的，現在都可以做到，以前捱過的，現在為什麼不能捱過？加油！

190: 轉工？

短短二字，足以令很多人兩年也解答不到。

如果我要轉工，一係做得非常唔開心，一係想搵多d，直到現在，工作不如意事十常八九，但當中亦有開心的，工作得到上級認同是最開心的，所以暫時都未有好實質嘅行動。

但我又會諗，我又唔係要飛黃騰達做老板，我應該做抉擇嗎？到現在都未有答案。

所以，做得開心便行了，不要簡單複雜化。

189: 放完假訓唔着

又試好耐冇寫過嘢，今次有幸上星期五及這星期一放假，有個long weekend，日日訓到冇底線，又冇開公司email，名符其實冇做過公事，好開心！

沒有新帖的這半年，發生了很多，亦轉變了。

置業是一直的夢想，終於在2009年6月28日決定並簽臨時買賣合約，買了一伙自己十分喜歡的房子。

之後是一連串的睇嘢、買嘢、格價等等，大門、門鎖、門框油漆、地板、地磚、雲石、膠板、裝飾玻璃、牆紙、牆腳線、天花線、燈、木櫃索色紋、櫃門金屬抽、電掣制面、鋅盆、洗手盆、龍頭、馬桶、企缸、洗頭水架、花灑、鏡箱、電熱水爐、床、床褥、衣櫃門、CD架、餐枱、梳化、木椅、洗衣機、微波爐、電視、電腦、喇叭、一大堆的鈎、不同用途的膠盒、盆、筲箕、膠架、桶、餐具，數之不盡的東西。浦得最多並不是買衫唱K飲嘢的地方，而是駱克道、砵蘭街、上海街、宜家家俬、無印良品、日本城、吉之島、實惠、Franc Franc、家俬鋪、雜貨家品店，及百老匯、豐澤、最好電器。

幸好有爸爸的裝修經驗及統籌監督及心血、媽媽幫忙買的煲、廚具、被鋪床單、阿姨陪我去買的𥦬簾及盆栽、表姐很靚的家庭用品、弟弟的出前一丁枱燈，給我很大的支持，他們及表哥一家同三伯父來入伙晚飯那晚，我真的很開心!

還有朋友同事們的經驗之談，也幫了我很多。

感覺到這好像並不只是我一個人的事，而是我及我身邊關心我的人一起做的一個項目，這個JOB是不計time cost，不計recovery，而且無fee收。

187: 電腦"奇才"

好多認識我的人都知我係電腦"奇才", 買一樣或者裝一樣電腦嘢往往需要比別人多一定的時間.

例如今趟買咗個Wireless Router, 研究咗半日再買埋條LAN線先裝到, 講出嚟都笑死人, 不過成功裝到咪得, 好似做audit一樣, 交到貨咪得, 只要唔係用咗比平常多出好多的時間, 同唔係交咗一pat屎出嚟就可以了.

成功裝咗, 唔使同細佬爭上網, 自己又學識多一樣嘢, 又可以消磨到要放無薪假的時間, 一舉幾得, 正!

186: 兼顧

我可以在一範疇內兼顧幾樣事物, 但我唔可以兼顧幾個範疇.

簡單說, 在工作這一範疇內, 我可以兼顧數個同時進行的項目, 但當我好專注於工作時, 我唔可以分神於投資, 愛情, 遊玩等. 應該話, 其實都可以去投資, 愛情, 遊玩, 不過唔會做得好滿意.

譬如當我同朋友講, 我對一個人有了好感, 佢地會為我高興, 但過一段時間佢地問我點呀同那個人點呀, 我會答都係敢, 因為係其間往往會有其他東西攪緊, 比如工作好多時間心機要花, 或者呢排成日去睇樓, 那我就沒有時間和心情去諗吓同那個人怎樣. 朋友可能會覺得我敷衍他們或覺得我有所隱瞞, 但我真係冇.

如果俾人誤會, 我係會好怒, 因為我不喜歡我明明應該係A但被認定不是A的感覺, 不過同時, 我都會檢討自己, 是否自己的行為給了人你不是A的印象.

時間唔會等人, 所以我諗我都錯過咗幾多機會, 要狠一點去取捨了.

每個人都有自己嘅資產, 可以係好多嘢, 只要係屬於你的和你擁有的, 都係你嘅資產, 例如家庭, 健康, 人際關係, 性格, 容貌等等.

保養自己嘅資產, 可以指去確認, 理解, 提升, 轉化, 保護, 維持他們的美.

心慈則貌美, 我認為不只是指內心美跟外在美的關係. 心美, 方可認清跟領會事物的美.

184: 興記茶餐廳

今日係放無薪假嘅第一日, 之前好多人都問我放一個禮拜假有咩做, 其實真係冇乜大計, 只係想做些平時冇時間做嘅事.

下晝於牛頭角剪頭髮, 之後去咗興記茶餐廳食嘢, 興記茶餐廳係之前有一期忽然一週介紹過, 依間興記茶餐廳位於牛頭角下邨, 好耐歷史, 因為牛頭角下邨即將清拆, 近來有好多人去嗰度拍照, 記錄低一些集體回憶. 那期忽然一週就係介紹牛頭角下邨一些值得大家懷念嘅事物, 興記茶餐廳就係其中一項. 興記茶餐廳好易搵, 位置在淘大商場對面間小學正後面, 入到去裡面, 有街坊, 有像我一樣特別去的人, 叫咗生炸雞脾+凍檸茶($18)+豬扒多士($10).

豬扒多士先來, 豬扒鬆軟到像雞扒, 醃得好夠味, 多士又夠脆, 好味道!

食完, 嚟埋生炸雞脾, 顧名思義, 生炸雞脾係將隻雞脾由生炸到熟, 唔係好似有些是用其他方法整熟隻雞脾再攞去炸. 一咬落去, 隻雞脾塊皮超脆, 脆到好似食薯片, 正! 醃得好夠味, 唔鹹, 口感味覺皆好!

可能因為佢地已經做了好多十年生意, 好清楚食客鍾意乜味道, 所以做出嚟嘅食物都好有水準.

我食食吓嘅時候, 有個男人搭枱, 坐我對面, 同原本同我坐同一張枱嘅男人傾起上嚟, 佢同佢傾傾吓仲望向我, 同我一齊傾, 於是我就加入咗佢哋嘅對話, 傾吓豬流感, 佢仲問我, 我又叫豬多又叫炸脾, 做乜唔叫兩個下午茶餐, 抵D喎, 我話我飲唔曬兩杯飲品啊!

食物好食不在話下, 人又親切, 可以再去, 因為仲有好多嘢都好似好好食! 哈哈!!

183: 洗牙

點解洗牙? 其實已經有好多年冇洗, 好唔乾淨.

個牙醫係細佬箍牙那個, 我老豆話, 個牙醫幾好, 好多客, 至拿手係種牙, 我同埋細佬去會有折, 牙醫都會有折? 心想, 不過, 一齊去都冇壞.

去到, 剛巧有個客俾緊錢, 姑娘同佢解釋緊張單點計, 我聽到洗牙要$300.

入去見醫生, 佢問我幾耐冇洗過牙, "都有好多年了......", "敢一陣會辛苦D啦!" (即係我會辛苦D).

"你都幾多牙石, 不過就冇蛀牙, 以後刷乾淨D應該冇問題", "好, 係呀, 我會了......"

過程中, 有幾下真係幾痛, 最痛係"姐"到牙齒與牙肉那個邊位, 同"姐"牙隙位置, 簡值係痺到痛!! 鬼叫自己棚牙唔乾淨, 抵架!! 死忍, 扮鎮定, 哈哈!!

牙醫手勢幾得, 將令個客痛嘅時間縮到最短, 好快就洗完, "你照下先", "好乾淨喎 (亦都好痛)"......

姑娘在洗之前鋪咗塊布在我心口, 但係D藥水(混有血絲)都濺到我件衫同埋眼鏡!!!!! 好彩我件衫係黑色, 如果唔係成身血就......哈!

出去俾錢, $200, 真係有折!!

182: Blog vs Facebook

寫blog都寫咗一段時間, 雖然唔係成日有新貼, 但自問全部都係用心想的.

而家非常流行Facebook, 點解唔喺Facebook寫Note呢?多好多人會睇到喎.

我覺得嗰個人如果睇我個blog, 佢係要特登click某d連結或者係佢bookmark咗我個blog而嚟睇, 即係要唸起呢個人, 佢先會去佢個blog, 佢係處於主動.

但Facebook就不同了, 你post個note, 好多人即刻可以喺news feed睇到, 好快好方便, 但嗰個人佢係處於被動.

基於性質上有分別, 我會選擇寫blog, 哈哈!!

181: "勁散熱王"

復活節假去咗九龍灣Megabox電腦展, 用$430買咗個250GB嘅外置硬碟, 送咗一些DVD-R同DVD-RW, 其實都冇概念這價錢係咪比出面便宜, 只是覺得OK及有需要就買.

買嚟做乜?之前部電腦無啦啦壞到機都開唔到, 乜文件, 相, 歌都冇曬, 好down, 所以一定要定期back-up, 如果唔係回憶會唔見好多, 而且無啦啦冇曬D重要嘢個感覺勁差勁無奈.

唔買唔知, 原來外置硬碟有好多牌子, 價錢亦可以差好遠, 依會場觀察所見, 日本牌價最貴, 韓國牌子夠便宜, 我那個牌子是imation, 之前用過佢嘅CD-R同USB手指到幾好, 同埋我那款賣點係"勁散熱王", 我唸都啱, 買膠外殼怕佢太熱會熔, 買薄金屬殼好型但唔襟跌, "勁散熱王"係比較厚金屬, 睇落硬淨襟跌, 屬於實幹型(哈哈~), 而且我係用嚟做back-up, 買個唔掂嘅返去等於冇買, 仲要又唔見曬D嘢, 絕對不可!!!

"勁散熱王"真係物如其名, 插咗部電腦幾個鐘連暖溫都冇, 掂!!!

180: 關心妍

關心妍 Jade, 其實已經唔係樂壇新人, 2002年出咗首張個人大碟, 仲好記得"負擔不起"唱到D女仔朋友斷哂氣, 可見Jade真係唔少嘢. 記得佢當年都係同側田一樣, 出道後好快就開演唱會, 好順利.

但係唔知點解, 好快就返番落嚟, 有一段時間仲俾從後趕上嘅人淹沒, 好多同異性扯上關係嘅新聞, 成為紙上藝人, 仲要係有新聞都唔慌大格得去邊嗰隻, 令人懷疑佢仲係唔係一個歌手.

直至2007年佢有首"如何離開你", 覺得好好聽, 開始留意番佢. Jade唱現場比好多人都要好, 冇走音, 冇甩咀, 有感情, 有感染力, 不過到而家都係於二三線位, 好大原因係樣唔夠, 青春唔夠, 個性唔夠, 後台唔夠, 有喺以上各項都比佢優異而賣唱功那些女歌星, 可能像謝安琪有首如"囍帖街"般嘅代表作, 而會有所轉機.

Jade唱現場真係好得, 唱慘歌好唱得出嗰種慘, 只要繼續努力, 相信可以更進一步.

178: 終於完成!

第一隻自己做MIC孭嘅上市公司年度審計, 客戶今日召開了核數委員會會議, 意味着我任務的完成, 如釋重負, 好開心呢!

期間遇到嘅問題不算多, 但有些也頗難搞, 有組員嘅努力, 以及我嘅計仔(哈哈), 都一一搞定了.

角色唔同咗, 一些東西一定要delegate俾樓下嘅人去做, 佢地唔做過係唔會識做, 甚至根本唔知有呢樣嘢同要做呢樣嘢, 不過大家都好盡力同用心去做, 抵讚!!

雖然而家唔使點落手落腳做working, 但自己都得到都唔少soft skill, 亦領略到係某些事情上親力親為嘅效果, 因為一些東西唔係話冇咗你去做唔得, 而係自身去做可以令成件事更流暢更有效, 人地亦會appreciate你嘅親力親為幫忙.

今天是大年初一前最後一天, 昨天年廿九吃過團年飯去了維園花市, 比想像中少人, 唔算好迫, 三點才回到家, 所以今晚都是留在家中了.

談到新年願望, 有很多, 最希望身體健康, 在新工作崗位可以做到最好, 亦希望結交新朋友, 也跟現時的朋友同事更加熟落, 雖然我係果D會一個人去旅行獨樂樂的人, 但係我都係好喜歡群體生活和群眾運動的.

好希望自己身邊各家人親戚朋友等都能身體健康, 生活愉快美滿.

經濟梗係想有所改善, 人人受惠, 這樣社會才會有空間進步.

我亦希望自己遲到的惡習能有所改善, 畢竟身為一個經理要成為一個榜樣, 這是我對自己的一個要求!

這句說話是從近日周慧敏與倪震分手, 由周慧敏發出之聲明節錄出來的.

人, 有時就是用顯微鏡看東西看其他人, 所有肉眼中微不足道甚至根本不能看見的微生物細菌都會被放大成為像恐龍高樓大廈般的龐然巨物, 篤眼篤鼻, 心情頓時由正變負.

但他們看自己的時候, 就會架起一副有型有款黑漆漆的墨鏡, 看來好functional, 實質乜都睇唔到, 前面條恐龍以為係隻貓, 高樓大廈以為係屋仔, 東西都是圓的. 明明係負都變正.

一副普通眼鏡或者肉眼其實已經可以將一個人要看的東西看得一清二楚, 一些明顯到係人都看得見的東西就不用特地像發現新大陸般驚嘆, 一些微少到不屑一看的東西亦不用特地像大揭秘如數家珍般張揚.

不求明察秋毫, 只想分清黑白.

陰天假期, 聽落不是一樣好的東西, 理想嘅假期應該天氣放睛跟住出去玩, 做想做嘅嘢, 越少限制為好.

陰天假期, 其實都可以係一個思考嘅日子, 陰天可以令人無原因地變得多愁善感, 思興大發, 諗理想, 諗退休, 諗發達, 又諗吓生活, 諗關係, 諗亂去諗嘢, 當然唔好諗諗吓鑽牛角尖諗埋一邊啦.

今日同一班同事講開人情味這個話題, 大家都覺得係某些利己但不損人的事項上, 應該可以不一定依循正常程序去做而有一些彈性, 這種彈性就係所謂嘅人情味.

不過人情味三個字其實可圈可點, 而且唔可以隨便用, 更加唔可以濫用, 所以要判斷一下可否用及怎樣用.

可能就係人懶去做這個判斷, 又可能係人判斷咗之後有原因唔用人情味, 更加有可能係人之前用人情味但LAI咗嘢, 所以人情味呢樣嘢其實唔容易.

有時既然是利己但不損人, 有一點人情味其實也沒有什麼問題, 我想.

宜家好多人見到奶類製品到唔敢食太多, 甚至敬而遠之唔食唔飲.

其實只要唔食到超標都唔會對健康造成好大影響, 冇人叫你一日裡面食幾十粒朱古力嘛.

小朋友同孕婦就真係唔好食太多, 始終如果個BB有咩事都於事無補, 但係普通正常冇病既人就唔好太敏感, 見到奶類製品好似見鬼一樣.

食, 始終係一種享受, 咖啡, 奶茶, 朱古力, 奶油多, 雞蛋仔......好多好多用奶做既美食, 食少少都唔會超標既, 放心食先!

其實想寫楊千嬅都想咗一排, 不過唔用中文寫個感覺一定好怪, 所以打得慢一點都要寫.

聽完呢張碟, 覺得千嬅既高音都不過不失, 算唱得好好架啦, 尤其係"一葉舟"這首歌, 唱得比以前自然, 亦好有感情, 林夕既詞更加係首歌既意境靈魂所在, "誰能甚麼也有, 又怕太早想通想透, 連抱擁都形同木偶"這句充分反映咗人某程度上唔好去不息地強求某些事物, 而可以好似一葉舟, 沿河隨風向心中的大海堅強地載沉, 又再浮, 前往.

不過如果你叫千嬅跳勁舞唱快歌, 都應該會係得啖笑.

鍾愛千嬅主要唔係因為佢既歌, 唔係佢做戲好笑, 亦都唔係佢夠喪, 而係佢份人既感覺好真, 好實在, 談吐可以好無厘頭亦可以好大體, 最鍾意佢係叱吒頒獎禮講得獎感受, 可能有部份係預先準備既台詞, 但係成個過程好揮灑自如, 有些位好觸動到觀眾, 佢呢樣嘢好值得黑貓借鏡.

就係在黃色暴雨那天, 無聊在信和逛逛, 其實都係想行下, 冇特別嘢要買.

入咗舖頭仔, 都係齋睇, 到臨走轉身嗰下, 眼利的黑貓突然瞄到何CC2006演唱會DVD賣$75, 係全新未拆過既, 仲要$75價錢招紙蓋住另一張$89既招紙, 無得傾, 即買!

黑貓果陣都有睇呢個演唱會, 阿詩好似上身一樣, 演唱得超棒, 好好氣氛~

黑貓仲一齊唱住, 仲好多首都識唱, 冇唱出聲都係心跟住唱, 好享受.

黑貓相信佢無論過咗幾多次生日, 呢一份睇演唱會既投入感都係唔會變既, 因為呢樣感覺係一種享受, 享受係應該將人為既障礙減到最低!

After getting up this morning to confirm signal 8 is hoisted, I sleep again until 2pm, really enjoyable. I dunno why I can sleep for so long, may be the quality of my sleep last nite is not good enough. :)

My mum bought lots of delicious instant noodles in the Food Fair and of course I should support her. I cooked two and one for my bro. 167: I am back

May, June, July and August - my previous post is in May and this post is in August, really crazy, because the workload in-between is crazy too.

Many things want to write here at this moment. Today is very happy. Yesterday the client finally gave us the consolidation and I promised to work as much as possible and not to work on Saturday. I am also happy that my lovely teammates also understand the situation and we all worked towards the same goal - no work in weekend. We make it!

Checked the weather condition, the sun will show itself all up in the weekend, so I determined to go swim and sunbathing in either day. I slept at 4 yesterday and woke up at 10 today, but I have not set alarms. This determination woke me up!! It's totally different from weekdays as I always not want to wake up.

Packed all necessary things, go to Oi Kwan to have my favourite breakfast, and then go to Clear Water Bay. It's full of sunshine with blue sky and white clouds - totally relaxed and melting with the nature. On the beach, turned off the cell phone, no access to computer, just me and also me, totally melted.

166: Border

'Don't write the word out of the border of the square, otherwise teacher will gibe u a black pig ga la.' When we were children, our mum should have talked similar things to us when we were doing penmanship homework. We must write all the things within the square or above the line and this is how our hand-writing be judged. The border is very clear.

When having public exams in secondary school, we need to put our answers in answer booklets. There is no limit on number of words of the answers and most candidates would tend to write more and write as many as they could. Although a long answer does not guarantee high marks, an answer with only a few lines or half page cannot earn many marks. There is no border indeed, but there is a self-created border.

When came to work, we usually have to make up the skeleton and no one will provide clear guidelines. And sometimes very detailed analysis is preferred, but sometimes your boss would want it to be as brief as possible. We definitely would not and could not knock the door of the boss and ask the word limit and the main ideas as we did when we were students. We have to make judgement ourselves. There is no established border and no one will create a border. The border is invisible and judgemental.

Adults have independent thinking. Even not all adults are working as a professional, each of them usually have to make professional judgements at their position. Since the border is invisible, this should not be deliberately created and limit one's action, as long as it is not in contrary to established ground rules and morality.

165: Who decides the direction?

The Olympic torch relay in HK is really a great day for all HK people. The atmosphere all over is so excited that all people over HK and China are full of smiles and fire, yeah~~

To celebrate this special event, my firm announced a few days ago that on May 2, 2008 our office will be closed. Very happy to have one more day holiday so that we can have 4 consecutive days of holidays!!

But I think the announcement was too late that we cannot plan what to do beforehand, say having a short trip or going hiking. Anyway, it's already a good thing to have an extra day of holiday.

This announcement also illustrated it should be the boss to make the decision and provide a direction and all the supporting staff to think how to go well in this direction. The boss announced: Oh! Let's have a day of extra holiday! To relax and to support the Olympics!! Then many people will come to the supporting staff: How about I really have to work on that day and will another day of leave be compensated to me? How about I have to attend exam classes and do I still need to attend? How about I have a day of annual leave approved for May 2 and I need to cancel this and have another day of paid-leave? How about I booked air tickets for business trips and I still need to travel? Many many similar scenarios will be left for the supporting staff to analyse and resolve.

So it's the boss to decide, and you guys to adjust yourself and follow.

It's how our society normally runs. As long as we can adjust and follow, there is no problem, and the boss will be justified to believe he is in the right direction. Even if we can't adjust and can't follow, we still have to make all feasible adjustments, walk, keeping walking in that direction, and wait and see whether it will really go wrong, wrong to the extent that the boss can realise and decide another direction.

This is not a pessimistic attitude, nor is it a reflection of certain issue. It's only how an individual can adapt to the group he belongs to.

164: Ad hoc gathering

Last night I had a ad hoc dinner with 2 friends.

In fact, guy 1 asked me in msn in the afternoon and I said ok, then he started to find some other guys, and finally, there were guy 1, guy 2 and me.

We went to Kowloon Bay to have dinner and so good that guy 2 drove his car out. His car was quite ying, haha......

We had Japanese food, and more importantly was that we had a memorable dinner in which we had a lot of in-depth conversations. Guy 1 and guy 2 were both mature guys and we all shared many on soft skills in inter-personal relationship, in working environment, in studies and in personal experience. I was also happy that they seemed to have been lighted up by some of my ideas. In fact, I have also been lighted up by some of their ideas.

I am not going to summarise in here the valuable ideas we shared, as I would not intentionally remember them and recite them but they will be around me in my daily life. I think if we really understand them, they need not to be intentionally remembered, and they can be portrayed in daily life scenarios and the effect can be realised.

This kind of little circle dinner enabled each of us to fully participate and exchange in-depth ideas freely. Hope we will have much more opportunities in future.

163: Luxury lunch series: day 4

Today I only worked in the morning and I have called for sick leave in the afternoon.

After having a normal lunch with colleagues in Wanchai, I went to CWB and hang for a while. When I arrived at Windsor House, I saw the shop which won the King of Hamburger award in the King of Catering Awards 2008. It's "Freshness Burger".

Freshness Burger comes from Japan and the first shop in HK is in Windsor House. I was there at about 3pm. There were only a few people inside and I guess it's because the lunch hour has just been over and there was no people as mo liu as me to hang around there at that time. I looked at the menu and the most prices tend to be expensive. I like to try new things and I decided to try whether it is really a King of Hamburger.

Those shown in the menu are typical burgers like beef burger, cheese burger and fish burger, etc, and I think these are quite "normal" but are more expensive than McD, then why not go to McD? Suddenly I saw a colourful blackboard near the cashier and there is a special burger called "Salmon Burger". Then I ordered the Salmon Burger at once and it is $28. Quite expensive indeed, but really want to try.

All burgers of Freshness Burger are made after orders are placed, so they are really fresh. The cashier said the Salmon Burger needs 5 min serving time and she gave me a tall number plate for my order.

My Salmon Burger was finally served and it was packed in a triangular white paper bag which was folded up in the shape of the burger and sticked with a yellow sticker with the word "Special", quite funny, haha.......

Opened the bag, the burger is not very large and size is similar to those of McD. As Salmon Burger is an off-menu special, there is no photo of the burger and I imagined that it was a burger with vegetables, onion and salmon as these ingredients somehow signify freshness. The burger turned out to have onion but have no vegetables, but the taste was very good. The meat inside was essentially a mixture of salmon, beef and tomato and was very rich in taste. And since it was made to order, the whole burger including the bread was quite hot and the bread was very soft. All in all, the whole thing was enjoyable and really wanna it to be bigger.

No photo of the Salmon Burger was taken because there was not many people in the shop and the staff could clearly saw what I was doing, so do have a try when you have this mood!

163: Luxury lunch series: day 3

In fact, today has no definite plan of where to eat but only want to have a better lunch, therefore we went to Outback Steakhouse in Wanchai.

I ordered a hamburger steak set which was served together with deep-fried potato slices and vegetables salad. The hamburger steak had very rich meat taste and the size was much bigger than those served inside slices of bread, and it was served with onion sauce with onion on the top. The taste was very good!

At night, I dated some friends of my old firm in Kowloon City and we had dinner in a Japanese restaurant. I first went with Ding as she is in Central. We planned to go to Mongkok by MTR and then went to Kowloon City by bus because crossing the Harbour Tunnel by bus must have traffic jam. We arrived at Mongkok and she went for fingernail beauty, so I hang around in Mongkok and went to Sino to visit the CD shops.

Ding's fingernail beauty treatment lasted for more than an hour, so long that the organiser Shun was also surprised. But it was very good that Shun drive a car out and he picked up me and Ding in Mongkok. The poor water-drinker just arrived at Kowloon City and searched for the restaurant for a while, haha...........

We again had a dinner full of laughs although there were only 4 people. We were very happy although we see each other not very regularly and still had plenty of things to talk. Shun said that Badman was very depressed because of his work so not come out. Hope he will feel better la.

Kowloon has many good restaurants and is a good place for dinner, but I think the transport is not very convenient as there is no MTR connecting to Kowloon CIty. If there is MTR, I think Kowloon City will become a popular place for great food!

162: Luxury lunch series: day 2

Last nite, I chatted with a colleague in msn and we suggested to eat Japanese food in today's lunch. We planned to make it in a small Japanese food restaurant in Star Street of Wanchai.

Today morning, gathered with 2 other colleagues, I booked a table for 4. The waitress asked me whether I need the menu by fax so that I could make order first. I thought this is not necessary since I guess the waiting time is more or less the same for a pre-order and a dine-in order.

3 of us arrived at 1230 since the remaining friend was in discussion with her manager. We made order first and she arrived at about 1240. The waitress said to her that the waiting time would be longer. So, for this restaurant, the earlier you order the food, the shorter you have to wait, so funny.

I ordered a today's special of 海膽天婦羅照燒雞扖定食, which include the main course as named, a Japanese soup, an appetizer, a Japanese bean curd in cup, rice and drink/ice-cream. Only looked at the content is already very happy, so many things in the set!! Another today's special main course is 海膽吞拿魚魚生飯 and others are the same. Prices are $98 and $158 respectively. Both are very attractive!

I choose the former because I only tried the fresh one before and have not tried tenpura. They are rolled in a piece of seaweed and put into deep fry. Taste is excellent! Having the taste of 海膽 kept and it is very crispy. Very good!

My friend steal a piece of tenpura from me and I steal her some fresh ones. Taste is also very good. Then I shared my experience in Tokyo of going to the fresh seafood market (築地市場) during which I ate a whole pack of fresh 海膽 as breakfast, haha....... The fresh 海膽 in there was the freshest and the most excellent one I have ever tried. The Tokyo trip is very memorable for me!

We were very happy when enjoying our dishes. One friend said he is very happy every time after having lunch in this restaurant. I think he's right because I was also very happy after the lunch, feeling very fulfilled.

Another colleague, who lives in Yuen Long, talked about what good things to eat in Yuen Long. She will organise a day-trip for us, including Japanese lunch, tea K and dinner in Big Wing Wah Restaurant, yeah!!

Anyway, going to Japan again will not happen in the near future. But the lunch today is also a happy experience.

By the way, we got 5 coupons this time, and we will go there again next week!!!

161: Luxury lunch series: day 1

Today I had lunch in Double Star with my colleagues. Although we waited for more than half an hour, we can finish the lunch in around half an hour, haha........

Originally we planned to go there earlier in order to have a slower and better lunch, but it turned out to be done within half an hour, but we did not eat very quickly indeed.

Before the main course came, a western soup and a slice of garlic bread were served. The main course was a fried duck chest long macaroni cooked with olive oil. The duck meat was in slices and were not very salty, and the sauce can match the meat perfectly. The whole thing was not very oily but it was too small in size to satisfy my stomach.

Then I ordered a slice of New York cheese cake, because it has already attracted me when I was waiting outside the cafe, and the cheese cake of Double Star is famous, and I really want to enjoy the lunch. It did meet my expectation and the taste was very cheese. The texture was firm but not too hard. The size is good fit and even eat a whole slice is not too sweet. The feeling is really cool~~

Last but not least, I had a cup of hot coffee and it was a nice end of the whole meal.

I was very happy after finished the whole lunch as it was really a kind of reward for our hard times over the past few months. Already arranged, the series of good and luxurious lunch will continue this week.

160: Tomato and potato soup

Tomato and potato are both rich in nutrition. Tomato & potato soup is my favourite.

My dad can always make it very nice and has a number of versions: + fish or + meat or + preserved vegetables. All three versions are very good, although fish may have a lot of fish bones.

He is also making it for tonite dinner. He is a great chef!

I am also a great chef for instant noodles and all kinds of noodles and I like eating noodles very much. I think if you like a thing and have reasonable time, you will put effort into it in order to make it be the best.

159: Lucky lucky draw

Today my mum and aunt accompanied my grandma went to a senior citizen gathering in a restaurant in Mega Box. Only $80 per head, not very expensive but food is good.

I went home to have dinner today. First I saw my brother was holding a new DC of Nikon. I asked him and he said mum get a prize in lucky draw. Then I asked mum, and she said they were very lucky today. My mum won the 1st prize in the lucky draw of the gathering and got the DC, and grandma won the 2nd prize and got a oven.

My family have never been so lucky that they won the 1st and 2nd prizes. Very happy~~~

158: A healthy cycle

Recently I left earlier for work because my client has already announced annual results and it somehow signified a gradual end of my peak season, so I can get back more of my personal life. It is the best news in 2008!

Leaving earlier, then I can do the things I have not done much for a number of months, such as going home to have dinner and watch TV, hanging around and shopping, meeting friends and blowing water with them, singing K with my crazy friends, etc.

Sleeping earlier, I discovered that I wake up earlier recently and feel more healthy. Then I arrive at office earlier, getting a better seat, start working earlier in the morning and probably finishing work earlier and leaving earlier, sleeping earlier. What a healthy cycle!!

Another important good thing is being able to add post in my blog regularly, haha.........

I discovered and experienced the advantages of start and finish the office hour earlier. This is somehow less pressurised. At least I don't need to be afraid of the emailssssss bombing out when I open Outlook after settling down in office, don't need to be afraid of no seat to sit, don't need my colleagues to say I am away from seat when they receive phone calls calling me, haha..........

I hope this cycle will continue in my coming job.

157: I made the designer very happy!

Tonite went to CWB and hanging around. Wondering why I have worked in CWB for a client in March for the whole month but have never walked into a mall there.

Full of the mood tonite, and bought a number of things.

Happiest thing: being attracted by the display and walked into a shop. Designs are really great and I have selected and tried one, pretty good. Then being introduced into another, and feeling good as well, so tried again, and decided to put it into the basket. Lastly, the designer was very happy because I said his design was gorgeous, and he said he would give me a surprise if I select one more item. He introduced to me another masterpiece of his, then I finally put 3 items into the basket.

The surprise is: the 3rd item is FREE!!! And I became VIP of the shop and can enjoy 20% off for all products!!!

Really very happy, as I also made the designer very happy too~

HK-made things should also be supported! HK-made can also be good!!

156: Artiste and Accounting professionals

In the past, there were only 2 TV broadcasting channels: TVB and ATV. If actors and singers want to make more performance and become more popular, they must sign contract with them and become their contracted artiste. Then they can perform in big shows and popularity grows gradually.

In recent years, more and more channels have emerged, such as cable TV, Now TV, and numerous local websites such as Yahoo! and Sina. Artiste has more channels to show up and now some popular singers are still popular although they have no contracts with TVB or ATV. It is because they somehow no need to rely on these 2 channels to maintain their ricebowl. They can still survive, and in fact with more freedom as they become not bound by any contract. Therefore, the monopoly gradually fade out.

More choices have been opened for these artiste. For the other less popular artiste, most of them are still bound by such contracts. But at least, there are some real examples of success.

Will this happen for accounting professionals? Will the oligopoly fade out? Or it is fading out? Or it has faded out?

His name is Marc, which means a March baby. I think it is a very meaningful name.

I think one-month old, one year old, primary one, secondary one, year one ........ are obviously the most important steps of Marc. And these steps are so special that every step is a new step and new experience. Parents must be very happy to walk along with him to go through all these steps.

Today afternoon my friend called me. He is one of my best friends and we have talked for about an hour over the phone.

We have talked about many things relating to work, love and future. I was happy that he shared his views with me and in fact we have not talked to each other over the phone for so long for a long time. May be all of us are busy at work and dating.

Thinking what is happening when we were in school, the only things we have to do is study, dating, work part-time and play. We have not much responsibility and we can just do whatever we want, very free. I think every one who are working now would have this feeling. The past was so good.

I am not saying the present is not good. But in terms of freedom and responsibility, the past is relatively better. But when one has grown up, one has to face and accept more and more responsibility, and more and more responsibility will be assumed on you by others. So the thing I have to improve is to relax. Responsibility should not be a pressure burden. It should be a drive to do better.

HKCEE of my brother is coming. My parents and me are of course very concerned about his results.

For me, I will not place very high expectation on him. The only thing I expect from him is "work hard". If he has worked hard and tried his best, I think it's already very good.

He was very lazy, especially when he was in Form 2 to Form 4. In Form 5, he seemed to have realised the problem, so he had some attempts to be better, such as enrolling in tutorial classes, going to study rooms to study, etc. I have also talked to my friends about him and they said he may be just going out for dating. I trust him that he will not.

Everybody would have his desires. When you see a thing, you may want to do something with it - try it, buy it, compare it. When you see some people, you may also want to do something with his/her - smile, chat, befriend, etc.

Why is it a desire? One may simply want to do it but finally decide not to do it or forced not to do it. One may want to do it very much but due to some particular reasons, suspended, stopped or even deleted the desire. If one can do it freely, one will be very happy. If something has been keeping on blocking one to do it, one will be a bit frustrated.

I have to thank W and it's very free for whatever. It becomes reality and it's both hard and sensitive, and it made an exciting start in CNY.

148: CNY Eve

Today is CNY Eve. But I am not very longing for CNY itself. I am longing for the holiday instead, the chance to meet relatives and friends instead, the red pockets instead, haha........

May be most HK people are living with their families and convenient travelling shortened the distance between people, there is no need to take hours and days of trains back home to gather with our families. Unlike people in the mainland, they may have to take long journeys in crowded trains to go home to have holiday with family. This year was even worse due to the snow tragedy. Luckily most of them are able to take trains now and no need to wait and sleep outside the Guangzhou train station.

Meeting with family, relatives and friends, for me, is definitely a happy time. Although we may not have endless topics to talk about, the feeling is very relaxed and does not need to think seriously before throwing words out. All in the atmosphere are smiles, care, relax and excitement.

For me, I need time to release from work everyday. Even only about 10 minutes on a working day is needed. Even going home very late from work I need to "hae" for a while, may be 10 minutes or an hour in front of the computer, or holding the "outdated" newspaper, or reading "ready for recycling" magazines. Just need a time slot which is totally owned by me, in which I can do whatever things, in which I can release myself from what happened in daytime, in which I can temporarily forget the things ahead tomorrow.

Of course, going hang-out after work is one of the best method. I need to absorb the refreshing ingredients on the street and in shopping malls. Even not buying anything, just free-ride and absorb the necessary ingredients could also lift up the index. Lifting up the index can lift the whole me up.

CNY Eve is the best day to review what we've done and we've not done over the year and to think what we can do more and do better in the coming year.

147: New Year mood

Today has not much mood to work, since holiday is coming. And the Firm is "so kind" that this year CNY Eve is a Firm holiday, that means we don't have to work tomorrow and today is the last working day before CNY.

This year CNY is very cold. I remember the CNY over the past few years were not very cold and no thick clothes was necessary when going out. I don't like wearing thick and bulky clothes because they are heavy and the body is not easy to move. But since the weather is cold (and even wet), no choice.

New Year mood intensified my holiday mood. Really no mood to work, haha.......

146: Behind the masks

The mask here is not those we need to wear during SARS. These are happy and colourful party masks. Behind the masks is the theme of this year annual dinner.

This year is my third year to go to annual ball. Every year is a different experience. But the happiest thing os each year annual ball is hanging, walking and running around the venue to take photos with friends. Everybody dressed up so handsome and elegant that not taking a photo is really wasteful, haha........ In fact, since we always work in client office in different locations, we cannot see each other face-to-face very frequenlty and just can chat over the air or have non-regular dinners.

The other happy thing is guest performance in the annual ball. Every year guests (singers) would be invited by the Firm to have performance. 2006 was Grasshopper, 2007 was Justin and 2008 were Ivana and Hins!! All of them had very good performance.

The whole venue is full of happiness and excitement. Let's keep all these in memory...... 2006, 2007, 2008.

145: Snow

HK probably will not have snowing. So when HK people go to Australia, Japan, Korea or other places to look at snow and ice-skiing, they will be very happy. I will definitely be excited if I can go to snowing countries to sight-see and play.

But work is totally different. I am a not-frequent traveller when compared to some of my colleagues. Some of them have travelled and stayed in the PRC for so long that they nearly need to pay PRC income tax. Although not frequent. I really dun want to go to the mainland in winter times. Temperature is lower with no doubt. Plus the fact that places are so large but empty that makes you feel even cooler. Bringing lots of thick clothes is also very heavy. Putting on them are also heavy to walk and walk, especially when you need to carry your big case up and down from client's car. Putting those bulky files and reference papers into the case will make the case even heavier......

Taking a taxi or bus is even more hard to move. But this kind of experience is good, can learn to take care independently in an unfamiliar place. Of course too much is not desirable. Just a few times is very enough.

What you said being distorted by others is just like a rabbit being caught and cannot escape from the cage after numerous tries.

Because of this, sometimes I tend to think more before actually saying out, so the dialogue may become over-organised. I want to make things as clear as possible so as to minimise being misunderstood or distorted.

But I will not say things to please people for a purpose. All I said is just what's inside and what's worth.

When I concentrate in doing one thing, I hate people distracting me. I think nobody would like their concentration being distracted.

When concentrating in doing a particular thing, I would do it quickly and with clear directions and objectives, and can think of many new contents to add in. But once distracted, these things are very difficult to build up again. Just like a turned-on turbo, once running smoothly and suddenly stopped, hard to resume to the previous level.

Distractions do not mean I cannot talk to others when I cam concentrating. Just hate some people keep on irritating me without any positive contribution, and keep asking me to do something which I am not supposed to do at that moment.

140: Magic of shower

Shower or bath is done by every one everyday. It's only a routine step of cleansing.

Depends on how one thinks. The showering process can create things. Something in one's mind may sparkle and keep sparkling throughout. Some of these insights may not come when one is sitting down and working in daytime.

The showering process can wash away things. One may be crying and feeling grey before and something orange may suddenly show up to purify and finally wash away the grey.

The showering process can delete things. One may keep thinking about something and the water drips and water pressures may gradually make one forgotten and finally deleted these things.

These sound impossible that the showering process can do these things. It's not the shower itself can do, but what and how you are thinking during showering. Using a traditional soap can was away the dirties. Using a shampoo can wash away those in inner skin. Using a luxurious moisturising shampoo can wash away those and give moisture to your skin. Really? That depends on how you think.

138: Email on Happy Friday

Today our group received an email from our Floor Partner. He strongly encouraged all staff to leave before 6pm on every Friday in order to enjoy our Happy Friday and achieve work life balance.

I found no reason for not supporting his view and in fact this should have been done a few years earlier. This practice has been in place for many firms and industries. Anyway, doing late is better than not doing.

He also suggest us to work harder on Monday to Thursday and then on Friday we can enjoy the fruit. Yes, we should really work for something and if we can work for it successfully, the whole team will be even more excited, because our hard work have rewards and recognition.

In fact, working hard and for long working hours is not our main concern. Our main concern is whether our hard work, use of personal time for work, and use of our sleeping time for work can get reasonable rewards and recognition. If worked hard and someone treat it as you are supposed to do so and does not recognise and appreciate, we will be very disappointed.

I think this new regime could give us some hope, hoping the situation will keep improving.

137: iPod get repaired and recovered

Bought a new iPod in October but already had some problems in sync songs with the computer. This week have the chance to go to Causeway Bay to work, so I brought the iPod to the repair warranty repair centre in Times Square on Monday.

I have explained my problems to the Apple staff and he had tried once again before me. The first time to sync songs with his computer has no problem, but when sync the second time, the problems I mentioned came out. He said it is rare to see such a problem (I wonder) and he said I can get the repaired iPod in 4-6 working days.

The staff also said the case and the battery will be brand new (Then I earned!) but some parts inside would be second hand. Anyway, I dun care as long as it can run normally and properly.

I asked him whether he needs to send my iPod to US for repair. He said they will send to the factory in Singapore. I hope I can get the repaired one asap!

Today the staff called me and I can get back the repaired one today, very efficient. I gave them on Monday afternoon and can get back on Thursday afternoon. So quick!

The iPod I received is a brand new one. The staff discussed with me the problems again and he said I may avoid the problems by turning off the anti-virus software and the firewall of my computer before sync songs with the iPod, because the anti-virus and firewall may have installed something in the iPod and these created such problems. I took his advice and tried sync songs just now, and it is very successful!

Really happy to have the iPod running normally so that I can enjoy my music when I am out. Cool~~~

Some people said I was born on the street, haha... because I like hanging around streets and shops, especially after work. If there is one day I can off-work earlier, say at 7, I would probably hang around for an hour before going home.

One reason is that I hate boredom. May be you would say I have some problems, but I really dun want to go home straight after work. Then I may end up in going (window) shopping, happy hour or dinner with friends. But normally going shopping would be one person, since my friends would think this person always go shopping is crazy.

This week I will be working in Causeway Bay and I must go around la. Today I hang around and bought a pair of jeans/trousers in Underground, but have 20% off with IT Visa. Price is reasonable and quality is not bad.

Everyone needs drive. An external drive for me is to do or buy something I like to reward myself. This can be one of the many simple and effective ways to keep oneself happy all the time. But should not be too much, otherwise, will become bankrupt, haha......

134: Changsha fly to Wuhan

If you have knowledge on China geography, you would wonder if there is something wrong in the title of this post.

Changsha and Wuhan are in fact very close to each other. Per our client in Changsha, there was a train from Changsha to Wuhan which only takes 2.5 hours, but I dunno why, our secretary has booked flight tickets for us. The flight tickets are not direct flight from Changsha to Wuhan. We have to fly from Changsha to Nanjing and then from Nanjing to Wuhan.

We left Changsha client office at 1:30pm and then after 2 flights and land transport, we finally arrived at the hotel in Wuhan at 10:30pm. A total of 9 hours were incurred, and we wasted 6.5 hours which we can use them for work or going outside. Really thanks for the secretary.

Although we arrived so late, we went out because we were very very hungry. Luckily a cafe nearly was still opened and we could have our dinner there at 11pm. In fact we have already eaten some noodles in the Nanjing airport during out 3 hours of waits inside the Nanjing airport. We had to wait for 3 hours after arrived at Nanjing for the flight to Wuhan and luckily there is a cafe which has free internet connection so that we could spend our time there.

But the food in this Nanjing airport cafe is very expensive. I ordered a simple beef noodles set (with no drinks but only have peanuts and other snacks which would make you very thirsty) and it costs RMB65!!! How can you imagine that a bowl of noodles can sell RMB65??? It is even more expensive than HK. But no other method, we have to choose it for having the internet connection and spend our time.

So, I highly recommend my friends tro remember the following 2 points:
1. There is 2.5 hours train from Changsha to Wuhan.
2. Nanjing airport food price is killing people, be prepared.

133: Third day at Changsha

We have stayed in Changsha for 3 days and work progress is satisfactory, but we gotta keep churring client on matters outstanding from them.

Today client did not being us for lunch so we had to choose ourselves. We went to a noodles restaurant nearby and it was very crowded but we managed to find 2 seats. I ordered a 砂鍋紅薯粉 and it is very spicy but delicious. I was sweating when I was eating the noodles. Yummy~~

Tonight we also went out for dinner and we went to a western restaurant. Food is ok but the funniest thing is that there was a singer there. The singer was a young man and he sat on the stage singing with a guitar. He sang very well and his voice is very similar to Jay Chow. Really surprised to see such a good singer in Changsha.

After dinner, we went back to hotel and worked. We went out again to Soho Bar and there were more people than last night. We finally realised that today was the 3rd Anniversary of Soho Bar so there were lots of people celebrating. There were more singers performing than last night and the atmosphere was super high! And the lady singing songs of A-Mei and Elva Siu also performed on stage tonight. There was than a lucky draw and prizes are Chivas 12 and other wines. The MC was very funny and made the people very excited. For me, it was more funny that the MC can also sing, as he made his performance about an hour later. All in all, we are really lucky to take part in the 3rd Anniversary!

Tomorrow we have to leave Changsha and go to Wuhan. I would recommend my friends that Changsha is such a good place to eat and play.

132: Second day at Changsha

Today is our first day to client's office. When we arrived at their office, the Finance Manager asked us why we carry all luggage. We said the hotel we lived in yesterday is not very good, has some strange smell in the room and has unstable internet connection. We requested her to change another hotel for us and book 2 single rooms as we both need to use internet connection. In fact, hoping to have a single room is our main reason. Living a single room has more privacy and can sleep at any time.

We changed to a hotel called '7 Days Inn'. It is a hotel chain in the PRC and it is famous for not expensive but decent rooms as per client. We first go for lunch and visited the hotel afterwards since it is just near the place of our lunch. Client went there with us and the hotel staff said we can go up to take a look of the rooms. We are amazed by the simple design of the room and it is decent and clean, so can live in here for the following 2 days.

Go back to the lunch. The Finance Manager took us to a small local restaurant to have lunch, with the Assistant Manager and Supervisor. The environment did not look good, but the food is excellent! People there like spicy food very much and all food can contain spice. They of course told the waitress to use less spice for us. All dishes we ordered are very good, including 羊肉紅薯粉煲, 辣料釀飽, 辣燒炸鴨 and 過橋豆腐, Only the bean curd is not spicy.

The restaurant and '7 Days Inn' are very close to client's office. Their office is actually located in the Walking Street of Changsha, one of the busiest places in Changsha. The have operated some retail shops selling sports shoes and apparels. The building has 5 stories, G/F and 1/F are shops and others are office, so we can go downstairs to have shopping if wish. This kind of working environment is new to me.

Since the shop and our hotel are on the Walking Street, we can return to the hotel quickly after work and go out again. After having the dinner, we walked along the Walking Street and it is very long. I guess walking from the start to the end (walking alone, no shopping) needs about 45 minutes.

Walking along the Street, the most frequent kind of shops we saw is sportswear shops. Almost half of the shops there are such kind of shop. I wonder if there were so many people buying sportswear there. There are also some casual wear shops and some do have trendy styles. There are also Walmart and many department stores along the Street and the normal closing time of shops and stores is 2230.

There is also a small section on the Street selling snacks like those in Mongkok. Price are very cheap, for example, RMB1 for 1 stick of fried squids. Taiwanese drinks are only about RMB4 to RMB6 per cup, but the cup is much bigger than those in Taiwan and HK. This area makes me feeling just like in the night markets of Taipei.

The whole Street is very busy and there is also a KTV and bar district along. We went up the bars out of curiosity and found that the atmosphere is excellent. We finally sat down in one called Soho Bar and have a drink. It is very crowded inside and is almost full seated. I have not imagined that there are so many people going out to play on Monday night.

People there are young and not old, clearly dressed up to party look. There are professional DJs and good live singers. It is just feeling like drinking in a HK bar. The singers would sing and walk around to different small stages in the bar and make the people very high! And their songs are very update, can sing Mandarin, English and Cantonese, dressed up handsome (men) and sexy (ladies). I like the sexy lady who sings songs of A-Mei Cheung and Elva Siu very much. She can sing and portray the feel of their songs.

These good food and happy moments have further added marks to my impression on Changsha.

131: First day at Changsha

2 days earlier on Friday, I was 'notified' that I have to make a business trip to Changsha and Wuhan this week, really surprised, and I have to go with another colleague on Sunday – a loss of one day holiday….

Today is Sunday and it is really a black Sunday for me. First of all, our flight departure time if 215pm and I dated my colleague to meet at the airport at 1245pm. I dunno why I have left home at 1030am and at that time I am afraid that I will be late. Finally I arrived at the airport at 1150am and I called my colleague. He was still waiting for bus and only after I ended the call, I discovered that I have arrived there an hour earlier, oh god!

Funny things are still ahead. After we have arrived at the Changsha airport and collected all luggage, I called client's finance manager and told her that we have arrived at Changsha. She seemed not know we would arrive today and was quite surprised. I told her that our HK colleagues have communicated with your side already and have told all our names, flight number and expected arrival time.

After that, she said an address (I guess is hotel address) and told me to take a taxi to there and she will arrange hotel booking for us. I of course rejected her as taking a taxi in the PRC can be very dangerous, and in fact I can't exactly catch the address she said. Even if I understand, if I tell the diver and the driver dunno how to get there, the one who suffers is me and my colleague, so I asked her to arrange a driver take us to the address. She said the driver need to go back to office to drive the car to the airport and it takes 2 hours. I said ok since we can sit down and eat something at the airport.

Finally she has arranged a driver to take us. When the driver called us, we asked him how long does it take for him to get to the airport, and he said about 30 min. Shit! How come the woman can say 2 hours? She must not want to arrange driver for us and just exaggerated the fact. She is very lazy and irresponsible!

The driver arrived and we finally had a safe travel to the hotel. I have never been to Changsha before and my first impression of Changsha is 'less backward than expected'. The highways and roads look not old and not rugged, and the airport is very clean and tidy, although not very big, and at least it is not crowded, and had modern silver, grey and blue decoration and good air-con.

One strange observation on the urban planning of Changsha, or at least the city we are in, shops selling similar products are located in one particular area. For example, we saw Tea-leave city, Construction and decoration city, Bedroom equipment city, etc. Our hotel seems located in the Entertainment city. There are lots of KTV and foot massage and the quantity is just like 7-11 or OK in Hong Kong. We wonder whether people living there need to eat, because there are relatively very few restaurants in the neighbourhood.

There is a Little Fat Sheep restaurant near our hotel but we dun want to eat that in the first day so we walked and walked. After about 10 min, we saw a big sports venue and it is just like those for the Olympics in Beijing. And good news come, there is a cafe near the venue and it is very big. It's called Wing Cafe and has decent decoration.

We look at the menu and food and drinks are at HK price and we still want to try. I ordered a Thai food set, containing a 'Tung Yum Gung' soap, fried rice and a green lemon soda. My colleague ordered a Western food set, containing a Lester soap, rice on hot pan and a coffee. Mine is RMB45 and his is RMB55. The real dishes are very similar to the photos on the menu and are very good taste. My 'Tung Yum Gung' soap is excellent and the taste is better than the Thai restaurant in APM in Kwun Tong. We both are very satisfied and my impression on Changsha is even better.

Wing Cafe is near the sports venue and there is a large public square in front of the venue and the cafe. People can do whatever they want. We saw audio equipment is set up at the square and there are more and more people dancing. After we finished dinner, we went out and see people are dancing with music from the audio equipment. They are only ordinary Chinese people and probably have not been trained for dancing, but they can dance very well!

When we walked through the crowd, we can see they somehow have dance steps and they really enjoy this kind of mass dance. They are totally not afraid of being laughed at if they dance not very well. I think this 'Changsha mass dance' is very good and should also be promoted in HK.

After watching the mass dance, we dropped into the Carrefour Supermarket and it is the same as the Carrefour in Bangkok, very big and has a very wide variety of goods. There are also many people inside. If HK has this kind of hypermarket, they must be very popular. But I think it is impossible because the space in HK is so limited and rent is so high, the supermarket cannot offer attractive prices or they will be running at a loss. So that's why I always visit hypermarkets like Big C, Carrefour and Tesco Lotus when I go to Bangkok.

After we finished our shopping at Carrefour, we saw the dancers are still dancing and there are more and more dancers. This Changsha mass dance is really a good social activity, very happy!

130: How much is respect?

Some days earlier, I went to a shop selling 2nd hand CD in Wanchai. In fact it was my first time to go to there, and the prices are relatively cheaper than some shops in Mongkok.

I took a CD of Sammi and it was only $15, so must buy la. Before I pay I asked the shop owner whether I can open the plastic cover bag to have a check. He seemed very surprised, saying 'I'd better give u the CD for free, no need to pay, real, buying CD-R also need about $15 for one pack, and this Sammi CD is full package...............' and lots of bull shits. I said, ok, and passed the $ to him. I wondered why he is so crazy. If I did not like the CD, I would have place the CD back to the shelf and go. And I guess the max I lost is only $15, so it's ok.

I went out of the shop and of course had a check at once and the CD is very clean and the whole package is still quite neat and fresh, so I have earned!

A week before I went to that shop again to see if I could find out some favourites there. The shop owner seemed can't recognise me. I selected 2 CD and I placed them in the counter and he was very welcomed. That time I bought 4 CDs and total is only $74, less than $20 for each. I have not asked for a check since I trust him but this time the gamble is bigger ($74) than last time ($15). This time he asked me, with smile, whether I need a plastic bag. I said no, and he suggested me to put the 4 CDs in my bag before I leave to avoid any accident.

Wa... so kind this time. Is that a customer buying for $74 should be more respected than another one buying $15? How much is respect?

This world is all about money, even in such a small shop. Anyway, if I were the shop owner, I would also provide better service to bigger customer, but I would definitely not treat the small customers in bad attitudes.

129: Become lucky this time

3 colleagues and me have applied for drawing for a table in the crab dinner organised by the Firm. And we finally get 4 places! Great!

This is indeed the first time I am drawn for such kind of activities. I have submitted applications for other Firm activities before but every time is finally nothing, so this time is very lucky!

I am not very fond of crabs but they are very good taste, especially when the crabs are eaten when they are still hot.

Really hope that I can be lucky throughout the coming peak season. Hope everything scheduled will not change. Anyway, I always say, hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Sometimes sick leave needs doctors proof, so one gotta see a doctor and spend $, lost.

How about calling sick and work off-site or at home? A total loss.

If one is real sick, one really have to call sick and rest and can't go out to play, so can be earned or lost.

Agree with some friends' saying that we should earn more. This is kind of staff welfare.

127: Colour-ink pens

There are hundreds of thousands colours of colour ball pens selling in the market now. Remember when we were in primary school, we only got red, blue, black, and 'more advanced' green ball pens. Colours like gold, silver, green, brown, and even white, were hardly present in the market. But with advancing technologies and changing tastes of consumers, the pens of these spectacular colours finally come.

Many students are fond of these colour pens. They are as convenient to use as ordinary ball pens and they can add variety to their school works and notes, and can be used in greeting cards and gifts so that more fun and colours can be used to express their feelings. This is a very good invention in my opinion.

But too much of one good thing can be not good. Witnessing the emerging market opportunities, more and more manufacturers are producing similar pens and inventing new colours in a hope to create some noises in the consumption market. One obvious example is the creation of white colour pens. People may think how can white ink be written on papers, but they have simply forgotten not all papers in the world is white paper. Using a white colour pen to write on a dark greeting card or card tag is special and I guess some of us have got this experience.

Going back to the too-much matter, there are too many brands and some are not of very satisfactory quality, but the price is not low. So the pen may only be usable in the first few days and would have to go to the bin afterwards. In some extreme cases, the pen may well be unusable when one try it in the shop.

Besides, colour of the cap of the pen can be very attractive but the real colour when written on papers are far different from the cap. For example, a pen has a shining yellow cap but can turn out as dark yellow on the paper. So if one has not tried the pen in the shop before paying money, one would be disappointed.

Therefore, a good thing can be a good thing in substance. It can be good-looking but one should check it before use. It could become another thing after one has checked it and it may not be the thing that one really wants. It can draw much attention at first sight but may become ordinary at the second or third sight. It can be attractive but one should check for any similar things before actually buy it. The most important question to ask oneself is: Is that thing really good and suitable for yourself?

126: Mandarin pops

Recently in one month ago, I am suddenly addicted to listening to Mandarin songs, say, by Taiwan and Singapore singers. I used to listen to Canton pop usually and not very often to listen to Mandarin songs.

Many Mandarin songs are good and are not as K as HK pops. HK pops are becoming more and more K. K songs are not necessarily not good, but they are too easy to listen and remember and sing, so they may become boring after some time. And the variety is not wide enough so that many songs give out similar impressions. Interesting things done for 100 times could become boring. May be we can try to stop listening to some particular K songs and get back to them a few months later. They may become good again!

I think the point is not the language itself. Some Mandarin songs are also bad, even worse than HK pops, and of which the selling points are the artistes themselves and a whole collection of accessories and those songs are not like songs, just like saying some words within some flat keys without any particular singing techniques. In a word, they are rather superficial.

May be Taiwan and Singapore markets are much larger than HK and the variety they can have is wider. And dunno why even for the same song, they are of better feel if they are in Mandarin.

Anyway, it's a matter of self-preference. Just go for what we think it's good and worth.

125: How things can get back to normal

A project can consist of many parts. When all these parts are completed, the project is get done. This is a concept that everyone should agree with and which is very normal, but today I know this is not necessarily a right concept. Whether it is right or wrong depends on how your boss views.

If the most important part of the project is not done, a reasonable person would think, oh, the other parts have been done and we just need to complete that important part then the project will all be done. But a boss, knowing that the most important part is not done, then the whole project is not done, no matter how well the other parts have been done. The boss only care about that part and will not appreciate how well the other parts have been done. So, then the boss know what they want has not been done, they will lose temper.

Just let the boss lose temper, !@#$%^&*()(*&^$#, and then you suggest an alternative way to make the part they want to be done faster, they accepted. Then you hand in the part in the way you suggested, and finally the boss can also use the works that you did to have discussion with their big boss, and then every thing goes at normal. Indeed the big boss may not be satisfied, but at least has something for them to read and comment. Then we would continue to do the thing and the boss continue to do their things. Then it comes to an end.

When doing well, the boss will not appreciate you and they just think that you should do things which can meet their requirements. When doing things a little bit different or below their expectations, we would hear all things. Just let them say and say, and I partly turn off my ears and just receive instructions and not the emotional words, and things will then go back to normal.

124: Back to normal

After weeks of holidays and trainings, I am back to normal work life again. And unfortunately, today I am late and arrived at office at 945, haha......

Quite hard to pick up again and the most difficult thing is to tune back the mood, from a holiday (relaxed) mood to a work (of course not relaxed) mood. Although now is not a really peak season now, it's simply hard and unwilling to face, gotta add more oil!

On the weekend just passed, we had lunch with my aunt and cousins and had hot-pot dinner with them, have faced them in day and nite, haha. Long time no see them and happy to see all of them are happy. I am also happy as I had an enjoyable Saturday.

Yeah, in addition, in the afternoon on the same day, mum and me forced my brother to tidy up the desk in the room and the things underneath, coz my bro put all his things on the desk and all over the floor and it's very hard to find a small piece of empty space there, essentially the space is all full and has no space at all. We 3 threw away many things and found many interesting things which are worth to keep but to relocate, because the desk is really full. The whole process of tidy last for about 3 hours, hard to believe. And hard to believe this became our family activity!

123: Please get it done when manpower is still available

Delegation is important, but it can only be done when manpower is available. When everyone has gone, it is the management's responsibility to ensure things can get done but not their subordinates, so they should plan the delegation well. The management has no excuse to pass the ball to anyone else. The subordinates have no reason and responsibility to follow up for you, except when they are officially designated to do so.

122: Want to have it? Still in doubt.

Having it would make one's life more fulfilled and it is actually one of the important aspects of life. Seeing my friends have it also makes me happy and some of them do change much after having it. Their mood, appearance, free time, busy time, taste, all changed. It can really make people happy, real happy. The happy is visible and very obvious.

How about not having it? Not having it would be super free and can do whatever want with no one to report to. One is then the only one who would bother what one do and what one is doing. One can also make many unplanned activities and appointments as long as the other one is available and have not much limit. One can explore one's own undiscovered aspects and have a reassessment and remeasurement of something.

But not having it sometimes would be quite boring and something not doing in a single person would be different and better. And one should have it in the long run, not becasue of any tradition or any pressure from others, but arising from one's self-development.

In fact I am not afraid of getting hurt and in fact one should be prepared for anything related thing happening because of having or losing it. I just dunno whether I am ready for it now and in fact whether I should be ready for it, and what exactly I am looking for, quite contradictary........

Plenty of sunshine in daytime, which can wake up and light up me back to work. Cool weather in Autumn is also good and relaxing, so end up in wanting to sleep more than work.

If the weather is so shiny that not much cloud is on the sky, going to swim or sunbathing is excellent, but when getting out of the water, will be ....... cold to death....!~

Natural winds are much better than artificial air-con. We can save energy now or to use the energy in alternative ways, such as not shutting down the computer for days, haha, just an example.

Recently tend to think less before act and the whole person becomes less heavy. Just doing what can think of, but cannot be too extreme, gotta have some self-controls, and fine-tune gradually to stand closer to normal.

Really have changed, changing towards the result of the analysis, and have learnt to slim up and light up the mind.

The funny man in classes, Sex on the beach cheers in Party World, excellent song ladies in Hyatt bar, crazy drinking and dancing in Gold KTV, the drizzling lake morning, the flower high tea.

The fine brunch treat by Andy, the Neway afternoon afterwards, the uncontrollable voice, the sore throat.

The windy BBQ which finally changed to boiling food and meat frying, the unexpected invitation, the unexpected mahjong wins, the windy and rainy nite.

The family BBQ in Siu Lam, the fantastic sunset, the volume of food.

The syss BBQ in Sai Kung, all funs and laughs, the long time no see friends.

The by the bay party, crazy dancing and the poor vodka lemon, meeting P there and P's actions.

The generous dinner treat by managers, the group photos, the drinks and peanuts shells in LKF.

The invitation to A's drink party, the cool bar, the various drinks, the various talks.

The search for travelling tours, the last minute admission to Phuket tour, the "good" flight meals, the boats and grasses at Boat Lagoon, the sunshine and beaches of Ha Ha and Egg, all the hungry fish, the rapids, the retaliations, the great photos, the Patong nites, the seafood fine-dining, the overcoming of shrimp-sensitiveness, the Mr. Pancake, all the laughs and smiles.

The All About Love concert, the unexpected excellent singing of Miriam, the unpopular good songs, the clapping to Mr. Koo, the price comparison.

119: Temperature change

Just returned from Phuket on Saturday, feeling cooler obviously, and not much sunlight at daytime.

This is only less than one week but the weather can have that noteable change. The nature is really hard to estimate.

Or is it because Phuket is so hot and has so much sunshine, so I make a wrong comparison with HK? Both can be and may be correct.

No need to care about the final answer. The fact is HK is now having cool weather now, take good care of the body and dun catch a cold!

118: Mahjong

Many friends know I am not good at playing mahjong. But last nite, we had a gathering in a colleague's home, and they played mahjong.

I also took part in it. Although I know that I would probably lose, it's ok to try, may be I will balance or win some! Just a game, take it easy, haha ... ...

At first, I was losing as there are some mahjongs kings there. But after a while, I had the first won! Immediately had the second and third! Very surprised and excited, I have ever imagined that I can win from mahjong.

Although I have only won these 3 times in the whole nite, I have won $16 finally. Really happy to have this experience. The $16, is not the main point.

Gotta learn and play more, hehe ... ...

117: Strong monsoon

Windows are shut suddenly, not by anybody, but by strong winds.

Wonder why the monsoon is as strong as a typhoon. Is there any monsoon signal that operates in the same mechanism as typhoons? So that people can have more holidays, haha ... ...

I remembered last year October was not that windy. It was still shiny and a little bit hot, can go to the beach to have sunbathing, but now, whether can still do this is not optimistic.

Anyway, outdoor is better than indoor. Indoor activities can be done in all free time, but outdoor have weather constraints.

I'd want a shiny Autumn.

Let's go to Book Fair - and bought some books in the book fair.

Buying 'faked books' is cheap in PRC - and had many stocked-in.

Going to Taipei has no reason of not to buy books - and buy some again.

In fact, bought many many books, but most of them are unread up to now. My hobby is still reading. Gotta be less wasteful, haha ... ...
