Our team is longing to have a no-work Saturday, so we have already made a great plan one week ago – BBQ!
We go to Siu Lam BBQ Site to celebrate this great day and today is very sunny. Although I am a usual later-comer at work, I am the first one to arrive at the Site today. (In fact, seldom was I late when I go to play. Play is so important for me so I never overslept on a play day, haha … ...) So I pay $78 ($68 per head + $10 fire fee) and I sit down in front of a fan to watch TV in the covered area. It is really hot and sunny today!
After about 10 minutes, my friends gradually arrive and we start the BBQ. AIC asked me whether I need a pair of shorts and slippers and he can drive to home to get. I think it is not very good for him to drive home solely for this, so I decline his offer. In fact he also wanna change clothes, so I say yes to him, haha … … In a pair shorts and slippers, plus a tee, feeling very homey. Thanks for his help, haha … …
We do not eat much because it is very hot and so we go out to the beach to play. We but 2 kites but the winds are not steady, so we cannot fly them very successfully. Anyway, almost all of us have not played kites for a long time, and there are lots of funny things happened. Happened on me is that I damaged one slipper accidentally (may be hyper active when flying kite) and finally have to wear one slipper and walk back to the BBQ Site. And after give up flying kites, we stand at the shallow water and feeling is very cool!~ Very enjoyable!
Returned to the Site and “hae” for a while with cold drinks, we finally leave at 630. Some of us, including me, enjoyed a free drive by AIC to Kwai Fong MTR. Really convenient and thanks for his safe drive.
