69: Work jokes and gags

Suddenly being released for next week from a job that I dun want to do. Feeling very happy. Immediately tell my AIC and he booked me to continue working for the current job, then I can have more time to do and clear as many files as possible.

A colleague wrote “File control” as one of her responsibilities in her Engagement Performance Review (EPR) form. AIC said this is too simple and all of us are trying to ‘help’ the colleague to rephrase it. I suggest, ‘Responsible for monitoring the progress and status of working paper files review by managers and partner.’ 2 words become more than 10 words, and the main point is ‘monitoring’. My English is really excellent, haha … …
