51: Buy or not buy? A matter of ...
This weekend is the end of my first experience to be in charge of a listed group and I strived hard to finish my work on Friday in order to get my weekend free. Finally, I did it! yeah!
Long time no go hanging around in Mongkok so decided to leave as many steps there as possible. Black i-pod nano, K810i, USB finger, converse sneakers........ wanna own them all! I did not buy any of them or I will be bankrupt. The most attractive thing I saw is a pair suit in F.C.K. It is in dark grey, with light strips, very slim cutting, has just-fit length jacket and low-waist trousers, with some cloth-made pattern around the belt area. I tried the jacket, fit me perfectly! But I have not tried the trousers. There is no sales and the jacket is $1,099 and trousers $649, total around $1,700, even I have VIP card, it is still around $1,400.
I start to think: I seldom wear suit for work. Spending $1,400 on a thing not very useful is not very worth. Although it is really attractive and can only meet but cannot find, I give up.
After a while, I passed a glasses shop. All glasses selling there are with famous brand names, such as Gucci, Burberry and Ray Ban, and the price include a pair of "super-thin" lens and is under $2,000. Glasses are very useful for me as I will be nearly blind without glasses and I never wear contact lens, so I started to search for good ones. Find and search, there seems no attractive ones. When I was leaving the shop, I saw a small poster with a model wearing my dream glasses (Prada, black, plastic, a little bit square shape, with thin black bands with silver words of Prada) and I quickly asked the salesman whether that style has stock. Oh sorry, it is out of stock......
Decided not to buy but have stock. Decided to buy but out of stock. As a conclusion, most important factor is a matter of luck. Good luck for everyone.

50: Bathing
Bathing can remove everything dirty and oily on the skin.
Bathing can reinvigorate your body.
Bathing can free up your memory like computer disk-cleanup.
Bathing can purify heart.
Bathing can forget pressure.
Bathing can imagine everything good and unreal.
Bathing can enjoy your own time with no interruption.
Let's remove, reinvigorate, free up, purify, forget, imagine, enjoy everything delightful!

49: Sense of danger
My Thai trip is enjoyable and memorable and I went to a bar there at one night.
When I told my friends and colleagues that I went to Bangkok alone, they said it is dangerous. When I further told them I went to a bar alone, they said they would not do so if they were me. Am I too brave or have not enough sense of danger? I think it is pretty ok to go to Thai alone and visit their bars alone, but I do have the following reminders to myself:
1. Dun enter those bars outside which there are lots of bar gals (mean there are not much customers inside and you would attract all of them) and choose those have much customers inside.
2. Dun bring along too much $ (about 5 pieces of 100B is very enough) and passport and any important things as you will be in trouble if they are lost.
3. Try not to order drinks but to order bottled beers as things can be put in cups easily.
4. Dun have much eye-contact and smiles with unpleasant strangers in order not to attract them.
5. Dun accept active gifts or active contacts with strangers.
I was inside for about 30 min and everything was pretty safe although some people and unpleasant strangers would come forward to you. Just show your feelings politely is ok and move if necessary. Provided this is safe, experience of going to such bars is nothing bad.

There were lots of bars in the area around the hotel I live in (Grand Mecure Park Avenue (4 stars) - 30 Sukhumvit Road, Soi 22 Klongtoey, Bangkok, Thailand, 10110). About HK$600 per night for single room. 5-7 min walk to BTS Asok station. Although not very well-known, rooms and room facilities are clean and comfortable.
