Today is quite special recently as it was a Monday and tomorrow is the National Day holiday, so can have excuse to play crazy tonight.
Working mood was close to zero today as the Manager of my job is on leave, so no one will chase me for this and for that and I can work freely at my pace (not very slow ga).
2 seniors leave us today and they were taking photos with colleagues happily after office hour. A colleague asked me a question: When will you leave? I don't know, anyway I will leave, but not soon, haha....... This question is hard to give a definite answer as this depends on many factors. Anyway, I love this family though I have just been here 1.5 years at this moment. Most colleagues are nice and helpful and talkative and it makes work less boring.
In fact, people need changes in order to get more experience and exposure. Changes does not necessarily mean changing job. Changes in role in the group, in friendship with others, personal development are also important changes. The most important thing is the ability to cope with the change and adapt to it so you will feel yourself has somehow improved in particular aspects.
Time to go out. Hope all of you having a great holiday!

47: Travelled alone
Very happy to get a one-week break after the peak season, so immediately after the leave was approved I decided to go travelling. But it was too late to date a friend to go, so travelled alone. Experience is nice :>
I travelled to Bangkok for 3 days and the 3 days were fully occupied. My depart and return flights are 0800 and 1900 respectively so still can have about 2.5 days there.
In fact the trip had not much planning. Just check out the latest news on Bangkok on the web and there are really many updates since my last time in Oct 2005. If you like shopping, the "Central World" which opened in Dec 2006 cannot be missed. It's a giant shopping mall (with a wide-variety dept store called "ZEN") in Chit Lom and there are many other malls in the neighbourhood, like Siam and Siam Discovery Centres, Gaysorn, Big C and many others. You will find travelling by BTS (skytrain) and MRT (underground train) in Bangkok is very convenient and a one-day ticket is just 120B. Nice price again!
Night markets are nice places too! You can see clothes, home products, accessories, tiny furniture, many many others, in the market. I went to a nightmart called "Suan-Lum Night Bazaar" which is neat and tidy, with clear zones, and prices are bargainable. It is also convenient to go there by MRT (get off at Lumphini) and it is just next to the station. No additional road search. In fact I have been there before and wanna try new nightmarts, but those other nightmarts on the web are in notorious areas, selling unspecial goods, or "tourists zones" with no bargains. There was a tee designer in Suan Lum and I bought 3 tees from him for 500B (bargained, originally 200B each). He said all tees just have one and thus each one is unique, so nice.
For me, the trip is mainly for relax but after walking and walking for some whole days, my legs were super tired and amazingly, my waist was also painful, may be I am old la, haha......
Prices in Bangkok are of course lower than HK, so consume and shop more is very normal. My favourites this time are fresh fruit juice and packed food. 1 cup was just 60B and is very fresh and cool and 1 bottle of carrot juice in supermarket was just 25B. Those packed food like rice and noodles were just 25B in supermarkets, but had nice local tastes!
Anyway, travelling alone is very free but may be bored if you cannot think of what to do. So suggest you to choose a place you are familiar with to travel alone is absolutely better and can experience the freedom!
And the following is a Japanese meal in a quiet Jap restaurant in MBK Centre (BTS National Stadium). Just 370B (HK$88), a not expensive fine-dining!
